Audit of a corporate change project

  • An IT services group that had enjoyed strong, steady growth for ten years, both externally and organically
  • Having renewed half its management committee members, the group began an ambitious “corporate liberation” project. The Chairman was the project’s main standard-bearer
  • One year later, the business was encountering difficulties in delivering the expected quality of service, it was undergoing commercial setbacks, and its results were plummeting
  • At the same time, the “corporate liberation” project was not working. The Chairman wanted to get external insight into the state of the project and the causes of its failure to transform the company

Eurosearch & Associés involvement

  • Eurosearch & Associés very quickly offered to carry out a management review by working one-to-one, meeting the thirteen key managers in structured, in-depth interviews
  • We reported back to the Chairman on these interviews

  • The managers expressed their satisfaction in having been listened to and heard in interviews that they felt were open and good-willed
  • Ownership of the business project by the group and its Chairman was strengthened
  • Two weeks after our work had begun, the conclusions of our Management Audit were presented to the Chairman with comments. These confirmed and clarified the Chairman’s own diagnosis

Following this assignment, the decision was made to speed up renewal of part of the Executive Committee and introduce a new organization.
